    I think so because DISM is now version 7601 on they need to update WAIK to include that.

    On another note:
    Can someone with SP1 RTM installed(prefferably x64) check whether or not the following files have been updated to version 6.1.7601.17514 ?:

    basebrd.dll ( C:\Windows\Branding\Basebrd )
    HelpPane.exe ( C:\Windows )
    imageres.dll ( C:\Windows\System32 and C:\Windows\SysWOW64 )
    shellstyle.dll ( C:\Windows\System32 and C:\Windows\SysWOW64 and C:\Windows\Resources\Themes\Aero\Shell\NormalColor )
    spwizimg.dll ( C:\Windows\System32 and C:\Windows\SysWOW64 )

    I extracted the SP1 installer but was unable to find these files inside the main cab.Perhaps we have to wait integrated isos or the files are updated to newer versions during install?

    Is there any way do slipstream SP1 to all editions on DVD? I tried using RT 7 Lite but it slipstreams SP1 only for one edition - i would need to do same operation for each edition and it will take long time.

    All files have 6.1.7600.16385 version so no, not updated

    Yeah currently 7600 but once the integrated ISO-s come there should be 7601 in /sources folder in the ISO.Atleast that was the case with SP1 RC ISO.

    I wonder if it will be a new version then. All files in integrated iso will have 7601 then, but files that aren't updated with sp1 are actually still 7600 but with an updated buildnumber

    Did you use imagex to export the image?
    Because when you mount, edit and then unmount an image with dism or imagex, the redundand files will still be included in the image.
    By using the export switch for imagex with the updated install.wim you can significantly reduce image size. This is because it will look which files are still needed, and only that files will be included in the exported wim image.

    whats in the SP1 rtm for win7

    I notice the scramble to get hold of the new SP1 release for win7 .but does anyone have a list of what is in it .
    fixes ,improvements tweaks etc. ??????

    i must be ok then, my image size is 3.09gb after integrating and removing some stuff
