There are quite a few members here who get first hand news from Zuko himself. Torko being one of them.
AIO edition of Windows 7 minus Starter and Home Basic is now available for download at Demonoid.me. I have downloaded it and tested and it works like a charm. It's from original MSDN ISO and nothing was modded.
Successfully installed SP1 (well integrated) on Home Basic 32Bit in vmware but i get: Code: Removing backup files created during service pack installation. Error: 13 Could not enumerate Service Pack in machine. For more information, refer to the help. The DISM log file can be found at C:\Windows\Logs\DISM\dism.log
Boot from install DVD/ISO in repair mode, open Command Prompt and use command "dism /image:X:\ /cleanup-image /spsuperseded" (where X is your Windows drive). Somehow this can't be done in online mode. --> Thanks to Stannieman who found this! (also see his slipstreaming guide topic)
Stannieman's slipstreaming guide, i ported it to my batchscript with same instructions as he has. Ahh, i missed that. Thanks
What exactly are we pointing to here in the following? "Dism /image:X:\ /cleanup-image /spsuperseded" Would this be like "Dism /image:E:\sources\install.wim /cleanup-image /spsuperseded" ?
If you want to clean your current install use /online instead of /image: If you want to delete the sp files from install.wim you have to mount a image in install.wim to a folder then you can run the cleanup and point it to the folder of your mounted image
