Excuse for being thick, but suppose I've just integrated SP1 with Rt7 Lite, and exited the program without actually using RT7 Lite to remove anything. Thus, I have an extracted DVD in a folder with SP1 integrated. How would I go about removing the backup files? Thank you in advance.

wth, politics has to do with leaks? planting malware would ruin their reputation for ever, so I think they still not get their hand into the original MSDN ISOs :p

...and aint the best way to do it. I gave it a try and it failed (well, installation problems and such). I did it manually and anything is fine. So, you decide! ;)

Alright...I have a genuine OEM Home premium DVD that I legally purchased. I integrated the new service pack that I downloaded from Softpedia. I restored my old token and license with Token Restore, and about my fourth boot, now the desktop says "Evaluation copy, build 7601." The system applet shows activated. What gives?

The hash marks match the x64 download in OP of this thread. Back to the drawing board. I wonder if importing the old token from 7600 messed it up.

IN the repo there is an token repair part to read

no problems with that here.... x64 version, installed using the multi edition/multi oem addon pack on a modified OEM dell disc with additional language packs on top of it... I haven't slipstreamed any disc yet and don't plan to, I just installed sp1 on top of an existing install
sp1 running solid so far... downloaded from wzor, not anywhere else

Ok, so it seems that Microsoft hasn't passed out the integrated ISO's to VIP testers so we are in a waiting game with Microsoft?

I'm sure that when Zukona and WZ get the ISO's from Microsoft well get them :)

    check my rant yesterday...

hahha MS MADE isos same day as they made SP1 so... they exist since end of november... if certain people just want to tease us with them... its frankly stupid... only thing we can do is, to ignore everything. SP1 isos exists for months, win8 is in m2 stages, ie9 is in (probably) RC stage as well, we have all this info... but soooory you cant get any of it, because we are jsut random t***s-

    Hi Friends:

What's the best way to install the new Windows 7 Service Pack 1 RTM Build 7601.17514.101119-1850?

    - Uninstall Windows Loader v1.9.5
    - Install Win 7 SP1 RTM
    - Install Windows Loader v1.9.5

    or

    - Install Win 7 SP1 RTM directly

    Thanks

    TecMan

    Clean install, then install sp1.
    Or wait for iso's. :)
