this is RTM, that cant really be disputed as windows states clearly "sp1" not beta or evaluation or test but just "sp1", whether the iso's are the final build is a different matter but the end result from a new "rtm" wont be much different if any changes are made, you can say 100% rtm because it is but you cant say final rtm.
Ok my bad I found out what makes test mode show up. I used one of the tweaks in the sticky to set the tcpip max half open file max to 100 instead of 10. When I do this it will show the water mark after reboot. If I remove test mode with the command to do so it then boots into repair mode and says that tcpip.sys was corrupted and when it repairs that file setting it back to 10 half open test mode goes away.
When will leak Win7 SP1 in PT-BR ? (original MS iso) ?? MICROSOFT.WINDOWS.7.ULTIMATE.WITH.SP1.X64.RETAIL.BRAZILIAN.DVD-WZT MICROSOFT.WINDOWS.7.ULTIMATE.WITH.SP1.X86.RETAIL.BRAZILIAN.DVD-WZT ?
RTM Escrow says SP1, with no watermarks. You can not say 100% RTM. Not unless you're Bill Gates himself.
You know the meaning of RTM? THIS ISO will surely NOT be released to manufacturers though the core files within are the sp1s. Believe it or not but don't push people to do their work on this one to release it as all-in-one DVD or something. They will have to do it again... An Build Verification Test key in the registry is simply THE evidence for this iso not beeing the clean one we'll get on MSDN or connect later. And the reason most of us here want a final and rtm sp1integrated_from_scratch iso is that it is CLEAN ... not full of obsolete files and regs. Just my 2 cents
rtm escrow is rtm, just not the final rtm, same thing happened when office 2010 rtm'ed, there are 2 builds floating around that are rtm, both have all the same features and both get the same updates and support. you can say and I can say 100% rtm as that is what it is, so what if another rtm comes out, we can all call both of them 100% rtm.
You should know, however, that half-open TCP connections limit is not implemented in Windows Vista SP2 and Windows 7 since Windows 7 Beta release. Do a search on Google. You can, if you want to, enable this feature (try TCP-Z). But, why would you?
1) Is it normal when you slipstream the SP1 into win7 v7600.16385, that several windows files keep this version number whilst others get the new v7601.17514 version number? 2) Would the files of an official Win7 iso from msdn with SP1 integrated from Micro$ have a uniform version number? ( aka v7601.17514 ) thanks in advance ...
Has any of you noticed that the download links on Softpedia have been removed? "Note: The Windows 7 SP1 RTM download link has been removed at Microsoft's request and will be added back as soon as Windows 7 SP1 is officially released." My gues is that Wzor got their hands on the real thing after all There's one more thing why I know that Wzor's isos are the final, RTM versions - just look how many different isos there are. Win 7 Ultimate Retail, OEM, Enterprise, five different flavours of MS Server 2008 R2 - and all those are original MS images (according to Wzor). As someone mentioned before in this thread, when Wzor leaked the Windows 7 RTM back in July 2009, there were a lot of similar comments about the authenticity of those isos... FWIW
