DISM.exe and all supported files are updated on the MS ISO release and NOT if you install SP1 on a running SP0 system. File: Dism.exe 6.1.7601.17514 CRC-32: 04498eab MD4: 6f319b75ba3ec63408710a2dd2fe3462 MD5: 49769c0b2e9a27731859e44dfddd5632 SHA-1: 85c98d4b5cae755779e52e4538ec466484e96d2a
Installed this version DISM reports this: File: Dism.exe CRC-32: 99e2bc05 MD4: b6c512f35cd695f484b07ea6dbf608f9 MD5: 4087f52a17eb28592a7dc0d8440a980e SHA-1: 7d8624096a4f4ac29260dd1a1f5e4bdc7b52ecd8 Wonder why is there a mismatch with the MS ISO that user_hidden mentioned.
So does this mean the dism for the x86 iso has been updated, and for the x64 iso it has not? Because on my x64 install dism still reads the 7600.16385 build number.
Is the DVD to DL are Original M$ Windows 7 with SP1 or are they regulat RTM (SP0) in which someone applied the SP1? (so, not a SP1 WinPE/Installer) ? Is there any language pack available for SP1 so I can create a SP1 disk with French/English? Thanks!
yes I know, and that's my point about the iso, the iso is just a slipstream as you do get the option to remeve the sp backup files from within Windows even though there are none, I would have thought if this iso (not the exe or build number) was the final one then you wouldn't have this option that doesn't do anything but highlight the fact that the iso is slipstreamed with sp1 not built as sp1., am I making any sense here?
yes there is Anarethos if you go back 1 or 2 pages.. This is leaked MS SP1 RTM.. is a nice link with all languagepacks for 7601.
You can find here on my MF SP1 Folder some of the EU languages and the LocalPack too ( if needed...) , both x86 and 64.
the WinPE language cabs are in the new waik supplement. don't know if they are same as the WinRE. in the boot.wim on the Ultimate SP1 dvd, the Recovery is en-US.
