If this is the real deal RTM, there shouldn't be any watermark on the bottom right after install, correct?

I'm still downloading right now. But that's something that I thought people might want to look at, that might already have it installed

Just run the exe like any program.
If you haven't faced any problems after a couple of days and you're sure you DON'T WANT TO UNINSTALL IT, you can type "dism /online /cleanup-Image /spsuperseded" in cmd.
This will remove backup files to free some disk space, but remember you can't remove the sp after that.

    I just finished the download.
Time to install. Soon I'll be back (or not... GLUP) telling what happened.

Yes it'll stay at about 50% for a long time and then suddenly it jumps to the end :)

Can someone refresh my memory: can you start the update and come back in an hour and expect it to be done? Or does it stop halfway and wait for you to approve the reboot?

Thanks to all for the information and SP1.

I just successfully update my W2K8 R2 Dutch (domain client) to SP 1.

Now I wil start upgrading my Domain Server and after that I try the new remoteFX (did not work with the Sp1 beta version)

Again Thanks to all on MDL (and wzor)

Is there a command to make it permanent? Something like vspclean.exe for Vista SP1 lol
