In the past, TechNet/MSDN releases have always been late morning / early afternoon, Redmond time. No reason to expect it to be any different this time around. This ain't a midnight release thing, folks.

I cannot get this to install (the Wave1 installer)

I attached the CBS log and upon reboot after it uninstalls itself on the welcome screen after failing at 11% it says

    ERROR_FILE_NOT_FOUND(0x80070002)

View attachment CBS - Copy (2).7z

had the same issue did this...

Use the System File Checker tool (SFC.exe) to determine which file is causing the issue, and then replace the file. To do this, follow these steps:
Open an elevated command prompt. To do this, click Start, click All Programs, click Accessories, right-click Command Prompt, and then click Run as administrator. If you are prompted for an administrator password or for a confirmation, type the password, or click Allow.
Type the following command, and then press ENTER:
    sfc /scannow
The sfc /scannow command scans all protected system files and replaces incorrect versions with correct Microsoft versions.

    sorted then

Indeed, it was when I deleted WinSAT's media sample folder from WinSxS, I must do a repair from the Windows 7 DVD. Thanks.

I knew i'd be bitten in the ass with doing that someday. Well here comes the reaper for what I've sown.

If that is correct, it is 145 mins from this post. That would be 30 mins to midnight in India. I will then download it tomorrow and install.

Opening the link in Chrome doesn't show updated information, but does with Internet Explorer. Go figure...
