That is a trip down memory lane for sure. Xdelta was phenomenal, I still much preferred it to SmartVersion. SV is to convoluted in the way it is told what to do via GUI. Note: Windows 2000 Professional was/ is the peak, has been downhill ever since.
Batch all the way At best Xdelta v1 stores md5. The rest is...well, unless you think binary and dump c++, it's not easy to read valuable information stored in the Xdelta delta. So SmartVersion is more trivial in that context. Btw, I know. It's not fair to compare those two since SmartVersion has envolved in coding. I think (but don't quote me) the idea of delta's was an IBM thingy dated back in the 60's. (I need to read more about that)
It's not 27.2GB, it's 27.2GiB. I wrote sizes just in gigabyte (for majority of Linux and macOS users) and gibibytes (for Windows and minority of Linux users).
@Eflanili OK, that makes sense I guess. Thanks for the huge share, I'm sure there will be people clamoring over it. Edit: Just noticed I have been blocked from posting in a couple of threads here. So that's it, I'm outta here!
As ALL of the win 7- 64 isos from page 1 no longer exist... I still have a disc: 7ulti-64, from July 2019 x-17-59465.iso What would be the hash of that disc? (I have not used soince 2019) Is that the latest version? Is there one with ALL updates around? Or at least with the usb software already integrated to use a mouse for the installation? Thank you
https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/new-isos.79045/#post-1503423 It's not advised to use those badly created ISOs and MSFT recently finally removed the files from their servers. It most likely was an intern/school project and not done properly, use simplix and the official MSDN ISOs.
Thank you, no problem, can do... but then I am again at the same problem: mouse not working... and I cannot remember how I worked around it last time ?
What do you mean by all versions? Every MSDN retail/oem iso contains starter (x86 only), homebasic, homepremium, professional and ultimate.
