In win7, composition gets broken when applying transparancy on that background, both with restorator and with VSB. Allready been experimenting with that. The only way is to use a vista style and make adjust it for win7 (like the one uploaded in first post). It's not a secret, it just hasn't been done yet in win7 because of the broken composition. Someone will get this done, but not yet.
It works here on my end. I have x64 running. You must have done something wrong. Try again, follow the instructions carefully and look out for anything out of the ordinary during the process.
hello I took the taskmgr For Build 7068 and I well replaced in C:\Windows\System32 Now, I taskmgr.exe*32 before it was taskmgr.exe I don't see where I go wrong thank you
I think it's because the taskmgr is x86 and not x64 (I have the impression that it doesn't see the process in x64) I tried to make myself a taskmgr, I get to do CPU and memory used, but I can not switch to blue gridlines "history of processor usage, etc. ..." if someone just tell me how thank you
it does work for x64. You need to use the 7068 version and follow the instructions carefully in the read me file. These files originate from deviant art, and a lot of people down there use this too for their x64 win7. Ignore the *32 (this shows on my end too), it still should work.
I'm doing exactly what was written in "read me" replace the file taskmgr.exe (original) by the Blue TaskManager I renamed the taskmgr original by taskmgr.old It's good? What Should I do? thank you
then it should work. did you reboot ? only performance tab will be blue, don't know if you realise that ? does the taskmanager work after replacing ?
I rebooted everything works with taskmgr except this little problem (mentioned above) I tried to make one myself (directly x64) but I don't know how the blue grid, the rest is good (the grid on the screen) thank you
Exactly what problem do you mean ? If it's the "*32" now showing behind tskmgr.exe, that's normal. Ignore it. If you want to mod it yourself, just play around with the images in photoshop or (better yet) the gimp2. use color shift, saturation and stuff like that to change the colors.
The problem I have is this (and not * 32) (see screen) do it myself, I used Restorators 2007, but I don't what to change (whether image or file) to get the blue grid thank you
Lol, well, apart from needing glasses, I can't see squat from that tiny pic Maybe post a bigger one ? I still don't get what the issue is, it seems to work. Is the performance tab in blue ? EDIT : lol I think I know what you are trying to say now. You want to do it yourself but don't know which resources need to be changed. Right ? but I still don't get what's wrong with the provided tskmgr.exe... gen555
