no probs....i didt notice the x86 in the screen shot. the great looking blue caught my eye. i didt now about the a workaround "CTRL-ALT-END and choose Logoff" so i did a system restore....its all good. keep up the good work Shanil.
I guess people were just too focused on the cool shell style and did not see the x86 info but hey no problem, just boot into repair mode and restore the ( hopefully made ) backup.
In not sure, but dont try it.. It does not work. Could someone be so kind and upload me an original shell32.dll from an x64 PC? Or provide me with a link to download the original file.. Thanks...!!
Normally in x64 you should also replace the shell32.dll in c:\windows\syswow64\ This is mentioned in the first post, btw... You should try that gen555
Then the original x64 files need to be modded. If someone wants them, I can do it, but I need the resources to replace the images. If you can provide the neccessary resources (I mean the modified images to replace), then I can prepare the shell32.dll for x64. OR, if you want to do it yourself, Shanil, you can easily. Just get a x64 version of shell32.dll from someone here, and mod it with restorator the usual way, but when saving, choose "Save", not "Save as...". Otherwise the file gets saved as a 32bit file. gen
@Shanil: I like ur win7 orbs.. I think I'll extract them from your provided x86 explorers and patch my x64 one with it.
Thanks. No need to extract them, ive included the .bmp in the same folder with the explorer.exe. Replace image 6801, 6805 & 6809 on your explorer.exe and you done..
