    Hi

I am having trouble finding how to disable system restore I can't find the
"Start › System › System protection › Configure" option as described in the first post by Suicide Solution

I have looked through the backup options but cant find how to disable it.

I dont use system restore as I back up my OS regularly with a Norton ghost recovery CD any help would be great.

    Hi ,

I can't open local group policy edit : I copy & page [gpedit.msc] exactly but it can not find it ..?

    Please help .

    Thanks

Windows uses 20% of your bandwidth, here's how to get it back

Start › Run › gpedit.msc (Local Group Policy Editor) › Local Computer Policy › Computer Configuration › Administrative Templates › Network › QOS Packet Scheduler › Limit Reservable Bandwidth › ENABLE reservable bandwidth, then set it to ZERO › OK

(BTW : Very nice Tweaks .)

It worked ok for me " Start/ All programs / Accessories / Run " then typed in " gpedit.msc" then › Local Computer Policy › Computer Configuration › Administrative Templates › Network › QOS Packet Scheduler › Limit Reservable Bandwidth › ENABLE reservable bandwidth, then set it to ZERO › OK

    Should work for you

Which version of 7 do you have? gpedit.msc is not available by default in either Starter or Home Premium.
