@Hazar good work , keep updating... most Vista loader were unfinished... i just hope you make option easy gui one click and manual method for advenced users if one click method fail....
Will this work if I'm dual booting Windows 7 and Ubuntu both from the same drive(Ubuntu is the first partition)?
I'm off. You did a great job Hazar. Let's see how fast this travels. I think the world will be upside down tomorrow. All the best.
I am running 7 Ultimate x64 RTM, tried this out and all that happens is this CMD window says a service is already running, scrolls out some text real fast and closes. Then I have this "System Reserved (Z" drive pop out of no where and thats all that happens. It doesn't auto reboot or tell me if it worked. So I reboot and it is not activated but the Z: drive is still there. What am I suppost to do? Btw I don't have SLIC in my bios does that matter?
first i want to thank you hazar!!! i tried your hack on a win7 64 BIT RTM version in a vmware and it worked. now i have downloaded (and unfortunately overwriten your old hack) the latest version and it does not work on my fresh installed win7 RTM 32 BIT laptop. it still says 28 days left.....
No it won't matter about slics, but can you add pauses in the code by editing the script and pinpoint where its going wrong? (you can view the batch file by extracting exe with winrar
Worked for me on 64 Ult, I did not get any msg it worked or did not work. I simply seen the new Z Drive auto run and pop up on screen, then I left it a minute or 2 and reboot PC. I had to manually remove drive letter from Z though.
It is not working for me either, although now it is finding the correct path to tokens.dat. It is really difficult to help Hazar troubleshoot because I cannot see what is happening behind the scenes. Hazar, can you describe how to edit the .exe file to insert pauses?
??? I followed these directions: 1. run diskmgmt.msc 2. for hidden system recovery partion (100MB) i've set disk letter "R" 3. copied "loader by Hazar" to this R: drive 4. run it as Administrator 5. wait some times 6. watch some console output 7. reboot ... but when I run the loader, it changes the drive letter AGAIN? Then in the loader window, it shows this error: The requested service has already been started. More help is available by typing NET HELPMSG 2182. Assigning Volume 1 to Z: ERROR: The system cannot find the path specified. C:\Windows\ServiceProfiles\Networkservice\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Softwarelicensing\tokens.dat: The system cannot find the path specified. Successfully processed 0 files; failed processing 1 files. SUCCESS: The file (or folder): "C:\Windows\System32\spp\tokens\pkeyconfig\pkeyconfig.xrm-ms" now owned by user "C2DExtreme7\Admin". processed file: C:\Windows\System32\spp\tokens\pkeyconfig\pkeyconfig.xrm-ms=64 was unexpected at this time. Any ideas? Windows 7 Ultimate Retail x64 on P5Q-E ... help!
Extract it with winrar, then open up install.cmd and insert the word pause on its own line after the strange bits of code in question
Same problem here, x64 OEM, except I no Z drive pops up. I don't appear to have any hidden partitions on my system. It's a Gateway laptop which I have repartitioned into two partitions myself. Thanks for your efforts so far.
i have inserted a few pause commands and removed the exit command too but the window just closes. oh s**t.. i have to run it from a command prompt i guess.... edit: ok now it pauses when i start it from the command prompt... but all i read is that all was working correct. still when i reboot i have only 28 days left.
and a lot of the problems are down to older versions being used etc. but other than that this was working for a lot of people...
