Nice work Hazar. You might want to put version numbers in your release/filename so people don't have problems with older versions. Thanks again
Daminator, At least on the MacBook Pro I think it has something to do with the ETFSBOOT.COM program. I doesn't handle file versions according to the (ISO) 9660 specification. The ETFSBOOT.COM program creates the CD boot sector. On the Mac I have to burn the original Win 7 ISO image to DVD. I then have to use a utility called oscdimg. It reads in the original DVD and modifies the boot sector creating a new ISO so it will boot on the Mac. I think hazar's loader messes with the boot sector causing it to once again not boot. Hazar please let me know if I'm in the ballpark? BTW hazar, thank you for this great loader, just wish it would work on my MacBook Pro.
This is driving me nuts as to why it doesnt work for me im doing everything that i need to but nothing =[
Hazar, This latest release seems to complete and my computer reboots when it is finished, it has never done this before. However, I am still not activated. I guess I am out of ideas.
ive installed windows 7 twice already today lol first time my computer said a file was missing and 2nd time is now i really cba to do it again im sure its more of a simple problem than that
Ok well, at least this time the pc reboots after the install.cmd finishes....BUT.....still no luck...lol It once again just gets stuck on reboot at the black screen w/blinking cursor Only thing I can think of is maybe it has something todo with the RAID 0? Is there something different about the way windows loads or something with raid, or something that may interfere?
Can you try install a boot manager that isn't windows? Also, I believe RAID array may deliver incorrect partition data during the activation process, but this is first time I hear of it. You can also try installing win 7 and activating with only one drive and then connect to RAID array. cheers
I believe hazar's loader is making a change to the boot sector which seems to be causing problems on certain machines. Anxiously, awaiting him to clarify things.
But he cut x64 out of the equation. Its x86 only as far as I know, it worked for me on a clean image. Hazar's 7 activator.exe (the one with a MD5 checksum: FE6C52EAD0253997F2A283BB8C5EA5A3) but others have been posted since!
awesome, worked like a charm ...................I have tried the chines one and didn't work for me. thanks dude
Well im going to bed now hopefully when i get up there will be some kinda way to get this sorted =[ doesnt seem to wana work for me and i have tryed atleast 12 times or more now =/
