Just a comment on Hazar's hypocrisy:

I don't see any credit to the creators of Vista lo*der in your INSTALLER Hazar.

Just to be clear your release is an installer for an updated version of Vista lo*der.

You either sourced grldr pre-modified elsewhere or you simply updated the original Vista lo*der with an SLIC 2.1 table just as it has always been possible to update the SLIC 2.0 tables (grldr = vstaldr1 + slic.bin + vstaldr2). For completeness "vstaldr1" has also been hex edited by you or someone else and several instances of "grldr" changed to "GRLDR" throughout the file as well as one instance of "Vista" changed to "GRLDR". But that's it. No original code here.

The xrm-ms certificate matching the SLIC table has been included along with bootinst.exe from Vista lo*der. Still no original code here.

The only original code is in the installer script (Install.cmd). But is that all your work? Not the product key installer, that's a well known command. Not the certificate installer, that's also a well known command. The parts of the script that search for the boot volume, mount it if necessary, yep most of that's yours.

To be absolutely clear your work consists of a writing part of (maybe the majority - but not all) the code in Install.cmd, updating the existing lo*der (SLIC 2.1 table and including the matching certificate) and packaging it together with in a RAR SFX.

Sure you did some work. Sure you wrote a script.
But did you write the lo*der? No.
Are you upset that others are using your script without giving credit? Yes.
Are you doing the same by not crediting the authors of Vista lo*der in your repack? Yes.

    :)

    Thats just hyperbole.

Unless the entire Lenovo OEM thing is cancelled, Microsft would be disabling all Lenovo systems, cracked or not.

Same as the XP "Student Key" where for years it worked, Microsoft never stopped it either except they did make it say non-Genuine and said your Producy Key is not valid for your region (if you live in the UK like me it said that and probably a s**tload of other countries). So what, theres a simple patcher on TPB for XP where it changes the key and makes it genuine - that patcher is from 2006 by the way and still works perfectly.

IMHO, I don't think toolkit 1.8 will kill yours. Look at my previous post. All you need is to restore original Tokens.dat and Pkeyconfig.xrm-ms. After this all we need is to apply your patch and thats all :)

    Hazar,
Can you at least show me some courtesy and acknowledge my PM or posts here regarding problems running your loader on MacBook Pro's? Thanks

    Can someone please help me?

I'm dual-booting Windows 7 and Vista on separate drives. I installed 7 a few days ago just to check it out in order to make sure the programs I use work on it correctly.

Anyways, I clicked Hazar's .exe, my system restarted, however it immediately boots to Vista. I've checked to make sure Windows 7 is my default operating system, set it to 30 seconds to display operating systems, and yet it still goes straight to Vista.

After the computer 'posts', I very briefly see some text on the screen with the load*r, and then it starts loading Vista.

How can I uninstall whatever changes Hazar made to my system? I loaded up EasyBCD, but I don't see any mention of Hazar in the MBR. Could whatever Hazar did still be installed if I'm only able to boot into Vista?

    Thanks.

Dunno why this wouldn't work, 'cause I just finished changing the RTM iso from EN to FR, and then activated via Hazar's loader, and it worked just fine !

The crack worked great on my built computer.
It's just incredible how fast I got my RTM iso , and now a good crack already available. I was convinced that Microsoft would fight piracy better with this version, and I was wrong :D

I was doing a dual boot with vista, and I regret that the vista loader was killed, but it isn't a big problem as I will probably format , and install win7 only later.

Anyway I have a little question. Should I disable windows update to ensure the crack won't be disabled ? Before, I was doing this with vista, and integrating each time latest updates with vlite on iso, then reformat (every 4-6 month). Advice ?

I decided to give it a try, testing with VMware.

Ran it but produced errors, so i decided to extract the contents and run it manually, but the .CMD didn't work too. What I did, I opened the batch file to do it myself. Now what happened, I messed up with last part. (copying GRLDR to C, in fact I was trying to copy it to the small hidden partition)

Anyway, just copying the activation related files and running the scripts made 7 activated.

So without the lo*der it works still,

Did you know about that ?

Is it going to break one day ?

    Thank you.

It haas the lo*der somewhere on your pc mate, it wont work otherwise. Most likeley the boot partition. This crack mounts it, installs it then unounts it again
