Well, i am telling you, something is messed up with my bios and this was after i ran that file and then tried reinstalling windows 7.

As soon as i boot up my pc it is stuck on the asus screen where it gives me the option to press F8 or Del, if i don't press anything it will just stay like that, if i press the Del key it goes into the process where it starts detecting my ram/drives then it just seems to stay stuck.

I have done some further testing and if i have a hd drive connected it will just freeze at the ram/drive detection part, i have tried booting it up with out any hd and i am able to get into the bios settings and have tried the restore default option. However as soon as i plug in the hd again it goes through the same problem. I also tried changing in the bios so that it detects my dvd drive first and it will just stil freeze at the detection part.

Can someone tell me how i can restore the bios into a working state again? or is it even possible to flash it or do i need some sort of additional hardware device?

I will try what you suggested and try using a different hd and report back with the results

that sucks dude. Hopefully someone will look into this and help you. This is why I'm holding off until this release goes through a few more revisions.

    No so easy...real check is

    run CMD like administrator then

    slmgr -xpr

this is the only right way to detect fake activactions.

The HDD boot sector is corrupt then, not your BIOS - its causing your BIOS to crash. Hopefully you find some way to fix it, maybe in another machine. If you have another HD, set that as master, set the "broken" one as slave, see if you can get the machine booted, and then format it.

    Ok this is damn weird.
I tried Hazars lo*der for hours and no matter what I did it would not work.
Tried Orbit30's lo*der 4 and tried option 2 and it worked first go.
WTF?? I thought Orbits option 2 WAS Hazar's?

Happy now, so glad I didn't take the reinstall option.

Yeah, you have up to 3, and it keeps them even if you already activated.

just a small clarification, how do i boot to grldr commandline? when i press 'c' while booting it doesn't goto commandline & also i opened the integrated menu.lst changed default to commandline still no luck, since grub commandline can be used for somany purposes why is it disabled? any chance of getting it back.....

You have 2 arms, 2 legs, and 3 remaining rearms. But you don't need them, because you're activated. Completely normal.
