    I have a technical question.
Which part of this script is telling the PC to boot using grldr instead of bootmgr?
Is it the bootinst.exe /nt60 line?
and is that a modified version of the bootsect.exe command that switches between bootmgr and grldr instead of bootmgr and ntldr?

Doesn't matter : There's no difference between Retail and OEM.

Yup, you'll find "grldr" present if you open that file in a hex editor.

Stop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... Hover to expand... Click to expand...

Didn't work on my Dell D420.

Works fine on VM, GA-X48-DS5, Macbook Pro.

Plan on trying it on a couple of Optiplex 620, 745, 755 I have here in the office...

    Another technical question:
Since this is based on GRUB4DOS, is there a way to extract the grldr or edit the settings? There is no config file, so the configuration seems to be embedded into the grldr file. I tried with grubinst.exe, but had no success.

I'd like to re-enable the messages shown while booting.

How do you build these custom grldr files?

Thanks for mentioning that....I just finished doing the same thing (took about an hour to extract the files from install.wim in safemode.....) to get rid of Orbits toolkit 1.7, and though after replacing those files winver.exe was still showing the RC expiration date, once reinstalling Hazar's cr**k (it worked successfully for a second time) winver.exe now shows no expiration date just like slmgr -dli did before completely removing Orbits toolkit.

As I mentioned before.....installing Hazars after Orbits, slmgr showed permenantly activated, but winver showed an expiration date.......after copying the original token and pkey from the DVD onto the system drive (in safe mode), it still showed the same thing until I reinstalled Hazars....now it doesn't show the expiration date.

It looks like he has hardcoded these settings into the source code.
You'd need to get the grub4dos source code and add the acpi emulation code in yourself.

    Version E

So apparently the lo*der doesn't work on version E, which is the one I got. I'll have to get the right version and try this again.

Hi everyone got a problem here. So I have windows 7 Ultimate build 7600. I tried a couple cr**ks and manage to activate windows however winver says it will expire in June 2010. So I come across Hazar's cr**k and I decide to try it. no luck winver still shows expiration in 2010. i search a bit and assume its because i used other cr**ks before. I restore the originals tokens.dat and pkeyconfig.xrm-ms in safe mode and go back in normal mode and try Hazar's patch again. Winver still shows expiration in 2010:mad:. Anyone can help on this?
    Thanks in advance
