    Extract install.wim (from the Sources directory)......it will have 4 folders (labeled 1, 2, 3, 4) that all contain the same tokens.dat and pkey...or at least they all have the same exact size and modified time.

    Anyway, browser into any of those folders and from there its the same path as where the files go (\Windows\ServiceProfiles\NetworkService\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\SoftwareProtectionPlatform and \Windows\System32\spp\tokens\pkeyconfig\).

    I personally took my files from the "4" folder and they worked fine to reset W7 back to its fresh install activation status.

    You are the Man!!!

    Hazar = awesome!

    The original Chinese one and the Orbit30 both activated W7U successfully, but made my mobo bios hang *just* before the 'Starting Windows' screen if they had SATA mode set to 'AHCI'; computer booted fully if i then switched it to 'disabled' so it would run in IDE emulation mode (Gigabyte board). The original Chinese cracker's blog actually noted this AHCI problem on some boards..

    ANYway, I wanted hot-plugging capability haha, so I removed old installs, then tried yours in AHCI, and voila - x86 w/o a hitch! Genius!

    Next up, laptop...:D

    is hazar still working on his own crack or did he just work with the orbit guys in the future?

    is the link in hazar´s fist post the latest version of his loader?

    its a little confusing that many other people post links to loaders by themself.

    i installed the x64 version of 7 by mounting an image from the .wim file with imagex then switched between vista and 7 with diskpart.

    i came onto this forum and tried out this program on x64 but now i can only boot into vista. the x64 version of 7 is still in its partition but i cant boot it. what happened?

    using a dell 1525

    Hi, I just had to register here! I'm following this thread since yesterday and first I have to say Good Job, Hazar! I myself haven't tried it yet, because I have to make dualboot system. I'm currently running Vista x64U on my C: drive (the BIE version with the lo*der).

    I want to install Win7 to a second partition of my first HDD. Now as I read about Vista being deactivated I'm a little concerned because I'd like to keep this system for the time being and play with Win7. I can't afford to crash that system because it is set up perfectly for my use and will take quite some time to be restored. Imaging is not an option for me :(
    What I want to say/ask is, the newest version of your lo*der, hazar, will probably (I have a custom made computer without a slic-modded bios) activate Win7 but in that process also deactivate Vista. Now, worst case both system are not activated (your lo*der didn't work for me), how do I reactivate Vista? Will the script you wrote for buzzard work if I run it in my vista OS? Leading to the next case, Win7 is activated but Vista is deactivated, do I run that script to reactivate Vista in Win7 or Vista itself? I just want to ask those question before.

    Thanks for your great work and any help in advance! Keep up the awesome work!

    Cheers

    EDIT: Has anyone tested this with the Samsung NC10? Mine is currently runnings Linux but it isn't working with the way I want it to. Still some problems with hotkeys etc. I had Win7 beta running fine on my NC10 so I'd like get back to Win7. Any experiences anyone?

    =\

    deleting grldr lets me dual boot vista and win7 again but that uninstalled the loader.
