Than'k you VERY much Hazar! Activted my Windows 7 Ultimate 7600x86 in just 2 minutes with NO problem. So, BIG GRETTINGS from Sweden to you. Your the Hero around for a lot of people ...
As far as the probs with dual/triple booting, disappearing and unbootable O/S peculiarities have been around for a long time. Deactivating is not a solution, obviously. Get everything configured correctly, THEN activate. You multi booters will have to become familiar with VistaBootPro 3.3 and EasyBCD 2.0 build 55 (Win 7 working). Then its no problem to make things happen!
Thanks Hazar, great tool. Activated Windows 7 7600x64 both on VirtualBox and on real machine (custom build, Intel Core 2 Quad 6600 on Asus P5E). By the way, on that machine I have triple boot: Windows 7, Windows 7 RC1 and Linux Mint.
@Hazar: Didn't have to log out of IRC mate There are still people there just not talking all the time. Wouldn't hurt to stay logged in and just look at it every now and then
Please take a look at it. It has your name on it in various places. Looks authentic to me. In the meantime, I will delete my post.
How would I find all the useful information about my dell computer? Its a Dell Inspiron 8600, Bios Version A14, Phoenix Technologies. The Hazar activator has yet to work and i have tried no other activators. This computer has an OEM partition which I am unable to assign a drive letter to. Could this be a potential problem?
Looks very nice. Ideas for improvement: 1. Add "Analyze activation" button - use existing knowledge in order to determine what will be the best activation method, and if the motherboard is supported. 2. allow upgrading to newer loader, for example, if there's a way to resolve multiple grub / loaders or bugfixes, it's better if handled automatically. 3. what does the "slic present" button does? does it check whether slic is installed, install an activator with slic support, or just inform the program that slic is present (turn some sort of boolean to true?) 4. is it possible to add custom badge (oem info)? 5. the best solution, imho, is to have two buttons - "activate", and "deactivate".. and have anything else determined behind the scenes by the program.
As we know there are still some problems with some brand of computers that fail activation (dell, ...) ... how will the program handle that ?
