I am not seeing the built in check-sum feature that I know is in Ultimate 7 when I right click on a file to do a hash check. Can anyone enlighten me on what might be the cause, please? I have installed the new OS on a laptop which came shipped with window vista home basic. I have double checked the system to see if the hardware is compatible and every thing checks out fine. I have not had any problems with the installation so far, however I was surprised that this checksum feature is not showing up. Since I am not an it guru I am wondering if other features of Windows 7 have been disabled as well. Thanks in advance for any advice.
