I don't understand why some people are so worried about what these updates do. Most of us here I would think are advanced PC users. Part of the process of trying to getting around activation is testing out new programs, patches, etc. If a program, patch, crack I try out messes up my system I simply format and install again. Better yet, create an image of the OS after a new install and then restore from there. Seems simple to me!!!!!!!!!
HELP!!! I have a problem after updating my windows 7 with this pack. My com stuck at the boot screen.. "Validating DMI pool data..." and that's what I see till now.
Any idea of what this newest update does? Edit: I heard it might update windows explorer. Can anyone confirm this?

yes its windows explorer update. It seems to fixes my monitor wakeup issue with auto hide taskbar and no active window/taskbar.

updates install fine on my hp ... iv got the slic 2.1 updated and all... runs perfect... and that key "blacklisted" its only a matter of time that some one goes to the shops and "trys" the computer out and convdently gets a cd key.......
