Lately I've also been experiencing some issues like these. I use to put my laptop in sleep mode during the night and I notice that in the morning it's hibernated, so there's something waking up the computer... I will check that advanced power option to see if it solves the problem.
Page exists when I click on it, anyway if you're not having this problem it probably doesn't affect your model so I wouldn't worry about it. I just provided the link for interest. It's certainly applicable for the P5Q I have.
Well, "Allow wake timers" in Advanced Power Options are disabled... If anyone knows a solution to this problem, please share.
I have this problem long time ago and what I found in Google surprise me MAC computers also have this problem. This make me think that probaly is a hardware problem for example the power supply.(In theory this can be cause by a peak of voltage, digital divices work with high(+5) and low(0) signals) I am not a technicien so don't ask me more. But if you PC wakes up +/- at 3 am this can be solve this way and work for me. Before a took this decition a look every where with out sucess. The computer wakes up becouse need to be update windows an mediacenter. Even after changing the hour stills waking up at 3 am. A clean install without internet once you finish the install conect to internet and update the system and at the same time change the hour for the updates daily to 5, 6, or 7 pm. you are done this work for me and a friend, see if works for you.
