Windows 7 Watermark

    I install Windows 7 RTM Build 7600 and I activated it using Hazar's loader Version 1.6. I have all the updates installed and Windows 7 says it is activated. I have text on the bottom right of my desktop saying "Windows 7 Build 7600. I though the RTM version didn't have a watermark. Am I the only one seeing this?

    Have a look at this key in regedit.exe - "HKCU\Control Panel\Desktop\ PaintDesktopVersion"

    If its value is 1 it will show the version number of windows on the desktop as you describe - if it is 0 it doesn't.

    Simply modify the value to 0 and it will disappear next login - sorry - next reboot.
