Windows 7 will not install

    I downloaded a copy of windows 7 iso file burned to dvd to install everything work fine until where it says expanding files it reach 1% but would not go any further even after 4 hours installed windows vista no problem can someone please advise as to what my problem may be and if something is missing can it be added thanks.

    Thanks for your reply but i had windows 7 n on the same dvd before whipping dvd to burn windows 7 home premium and windows n installed perfect no problems since windows n was trial version i did not want my computer to shut down i did not know it was windows 7 n until after it was already installed what is a good torrent and a place to download untouched copies of windows 7 home premiun 32 bit for i only have 1 gig of ram .

    Harddrive might be failing.. At least that's what my problem was at one point.. Do a sector scan of it if you can.. I use HDD Regenerator

    The first thing I would ask.... how much room do you have on the Partition.....
    to uncompress it uses the TEMP-TMP on C: -
    2nd thing have you defragged if you have enough space available.
    you youranswer #1 is over 20GB
    if you answer to #2 yes - defragged
    3d did you verify the burn...
