Hi Forum, I've got an old Dell Dimension 8300 which i booted up. It currently has a fresh build of Windows XP SP1 loaded onto the machine, whenever i update the machine to SP2 or SP3 the colours of the screen become messed up, windows seems to boot like something ive never seen before. I've updated the GPU, Upgraded the RAM, HDD and Bios and still get the isssue. I then tried to install windows vista/7 and when i insert the cd and it takes me to the install screen (after dos) the colours seemed to be all messed up. I know its not a problem with my cabling and my monitor since it works perfectly fine with my other pc.
