isn't it better someone can really update the first post with bugs till now confirmed? It's very hard to go through all pages for anyone to mention about new bug or already known bug.
I couldn't remember though. But seems like Right click on Network is no longer working. Just click on Network icon on taskbar, list of available networks will be shown in Metro popup Right click is completely disabled [It should display Forget network, set metered connection, View Connection Details etc...] It's broken since 8.1 Preview. I thought my upgrade from 8.0 to 8.1Preview didn't go fine. But now on clean install of 8.1, still same
Upgraded from Windows 8 Pro with Media Center to Windows 8.1 Pro, then added in Media center again. The one issue I am having is that when I try to adjust the lock screen and other visual settings the metro control panel crashes and dumps me back to the start screen.
There is now a thread on the ad-hoc problem "Windows 8.1 Not support Ad-Hoc Hotspot ". As suggested in the thread, Wefi PC/Notebook Windows app solved the problem for me finding and connecting to Ad-Hoc networks (wefi.com/download).
nope, not a bug, by design, Microsoft hid this as well! you have to go to change pc settings from the charms bar, then find network, then click on your network in the list and you have the options! I think I miss the old way
By Design? How that makes difference? and Why it's available in Windows 8. It's too easy to go there in Windows 7 too. But it's simply complicated now in Windows 8.1
To anyone having compatibility issues with TuneUp 2013: There is an beta version of AVG PC TuneUp 2014 on the internet. Go find it and download it. AVG/TuneUp are made by the same team. They are basically the same programs except for the names, but the 2014 beta supports 8.1 Preview(and RTM imo). And it's free(the beta)!
I can confirm the compatibility issues with TuneUp 2013. I was frustrated of all the incompatibility pop-ups so I uninstalled it.
In my case (same GPU) it's Forceware 326.80 (current beta) along with GeForceExperience 1.6.1 (update from 1.6.0 which is standard with 326.80).
Hey guys i have a strange bug on my 8.1 so after applying the option to show desktop background on Start Screen i can see somestimes my desktop icons on start screen !!!

Settings and files now fail to show up in Everywhere search for me. The only recent change was installing UniExtract.
