Yeah, the new search panel seems to actually work on 9369.

Slowly I really ger fade up with 9369!

First installation many of the apps didn't worked while press the buttons on start screen and/or All apps! Change PC Settings were not working in full!

Reinstalled on an new HDD, now I could use Change PC Settings. Click on an Apps, let say: Command Prompt and check to open as Administrator it starts: Step Recorder but Command Prompt. Cannot move the Icons and and and!

What the hell is with that version?

    It's simply a pre-beta infested with bugs.

This was my 3. test with the Beta and I'll stop for now, not lose more time wit it!

Could be. In fact is supports Secure Boot which is a feature of EFI only at this time.

The Generation 2 is also locked to 64 bit only, which would make it anyway impossible to change back to Generation 1.

Best way to find out would be to install a Windows 8 VM on Generation 2. I wonder if it would also be visual difference like fluid animations etc..

Yeah but you can have a mix of Gen 1 and Gen 2 VM's on the same Hyper-V host.

I'm actually going to try that today and see what happens, should be interesting to see what the differences are.

Yes, I understand that. But Generation 2 will be locked while Generation 1 wouldn't.

Maybe the build Generation 2 special for EFI?!

    You can't change from 1 to 2 either. :p

And it could be, since EFI does support faster boot. But Windows 7 also supported EFI on a limited way didn't it? So Windows 7 should work then too after some tweaks with the iso..
