It is available to testers that have access on Connect, but what's the point since the preview build, will be available in 3 weeks time. I just hope MS has restored DirectDraw, so I can play my old Command & Conquer Games (Tiberian Sun and Red Alert 2!)
just saying When I first viewed the quote above thought to myself this sentence is formed by someone whose native language Is Not English.... I notice this allot here while most times i can figure it out I'm sure many cannot: for the good of all I had to post some snips from Google here & there. The following rules apply to forming questions in English. There are a number of other, more advanced, ways to form questions in English, but simple English questions always follow these rules. I copy pasted for convenience... I am not teacher or anything like that. A few easy tips for non-native-English speaking guests & members. Examples included. All tenses in English use auxiliary verbs. Auxiliary verbs are always placed before the subject in questions in English. Place the main form of the verb after the subject. "Who" Use: Asking about people Examples: Who do you like? Who studies Russian? "What" Use: Asking about things or activities Examples: What does he do on weekends? What is that? What kind of / type of Use: Asking about specific things or characteristics Examples: What type of car do you drive? What kind of person is he? What time Use: Asking for a specific time Examples: What time is it? What time does 8.1 leak? What ... like Use: Asking about characteristics Examples: What was the weather like? What is Mary Jo like? When Use: Asking about general or specific times Examples: When do you like going out? When does the bus leave? Where Use: Asking about places Examples: Where do you live? Where did you go on vacation? How Use: Combined with many words to ask questions about specific characteristics, qualities, quantities, etc. For example: How much (price, quantity), How long (length), How often (frequency) Examples: How often do you go to the MDL Forums? How long was the registration? How much does it cost? Which Use: Asking to specify a thing or person from a number of things or people Examples: Which OS did you buy? Which person won the leak race? Had to do it ... no good? Delete it. obviously you my good man, didn't read it. @PD It is about "How to use English" NOT " ............ "to use" English language." my point completely. @ace2 Agreed
it is always good to brush up on one's language skills. a lot of people on Facebook could definitely use an English lesson or two.
Frankly, this now is quite a bit off topic but I missed your "teaching" when some individuals appeared with a brand new google translation polluting many threads, Where have you been at that time? In your nutshell? Very sorry about my not natively speaking your language. Please forgive me SIR
The biggest problem with that English lesson, is that it was meant for people who already speak the English language as their first language. You are correct, you are not a teacher lol the speak down the drain and we will have nothing to talk about. Please don't do that.
Could be worse. I hate "cyber" arguments on forums. But, how about this one on another site. The guy asked a perfectly innocent question, using a few items like "omg" ;; "imo" etc. This was the comeback (not his first) from senior moderator: The OPs last post: "If you don't respect your user queries and treat them like this, then i don't want to be a part of your community. No one have replied to my queries rather than just giving insulting answers... Thx for even wasting ur time in giving such replies..you get time to post insultung rpelies but you don't have time to post some useful info or post related solution..." From the moderator: "Your snotty post is exactly what I'm talking about. You don't use spell-check, obviously and you don't use punctuation and you type only parts of words. This is an internet forum, , , English Spoken Here, not cell phone gibberish. We have viewers and responders from all over the world, that do understand proper English, not Cell Phone gibberish. So if you can't post in an understandable manner, you're more than welcome to leave. I won't ban you for being snotty, but I'll be more than glad to hold the door open for you. Eh?""
