Windows 8.1 Build 9600.16610 DISM Now Can Work On ESD

The exported 1 index of the decrypted ESD (Windows Setup Media), can be exported to .wim format with wimlib-imagex

unfortunately, that doesn't apply to other indexes, all return
error code 20: An entry in the WIM's lookup table is invalid

maybe because the 1st index is just a Data image

For me the coolest thing about store ESD is that it can upgrade Win8 without requiring re-activation, is there any way to do that using a decrypted ESD from above tool?

Unfortunately, I don't think it's possible because it's the store upgrade process itself that migrates the activation token from Win 8 to 8.1.

I use MTK to backup and restore activation. I never thought about that it might "burn a charge" every time when I restore.

I am using 'Win81AIO-S14-20in1-x86-en-US-Mar2014.iso' right now. And I want to create 'Win 8.1 to Go' from this .iso which is created by you.


I refer following Post for doing this-

I use following command in order to check what images I have present inside the esd file.


Dism /Get-ImageInfo /ImageFile:K:\Sources\install.esd


But this command always give 'Error 87'. I can not understand why wrong with your AIO.

Please tell me about Step by Step Procedure of 'how I can create 'Win 8.1 to GO' from
'Win81AIO-S14-20in1-x86-en-US-Mar2014.iso'.

Win8togo is pretty straight-forward unless you have a sub-par usb device.
Just install to a Windows 8 Enterprise OS, and run windos to go.

 

If anyone finds direct links to new prowmc, coresl, coresc, etc. Please post them so we can use the new decrypter tool and play with them.

 

Seems the store upgrade images are already updated.
I could get ProWMC esd from the url in WindowsUpdate.log (because it uses WU and BITS, the urls are logged there).
But the link contains authentication related info and I cannot directly download it as of now.
The Windows 8.1 setup box is not updated yet and, anyway, I also tried it with combining Windows 8 setup and key (to bypass product key check) but it doesn't work for me due to network error.

The RSA key isn't changed and the decrypter works for downloaded esd, so it can be used also if the publicly accessible links are found.


EDIT:
Seems there is a limit on how many times I can download ISO from Windows 8 Setup.
I tried another key and it worked. But the url is still GA link and not updated.

 

I got CoreSL

but as qad refered, the url's authentication doesn't last long enough outside store (maybe half hour)
therefore, sharing those links will be superfluous

i can use 3rd party file host site to remote-upload the esd file

CoreSL or ProWMC cannot be downloaded outside the store (except for OEMs), AFAIK.
So I think using the store image and creating single-edition ISO might be useful for those who own CoreSL(OEM) or ProWMC(Retail/OEM+Pack) for their personal usages.
I've also collected Core/Pro/ProWMC ESDs for both archs so that I'll be able to build homebrew ISOs for my personal usage (I'm using ProWMC) when they are needed

 

abbodi1406 has my blessing to take the script I did and run with it.
I've told him this in pm, but in case he does a big thread with downloads and stuff with a new script, don't be like "WTF MAN".
