Windows 8.1 disconnects Wifi every wake

    Hi. I have Windows 8.1 Pro 64 bit activated using kmspico.
    For some reason, every time I wake up my computer, it disconnects it from the Wifi and when I try reconnecting it, it won't reconnect, then I had to restart my computer to connect it again successfully.

    This never happened on the computer's previous Os's
    Any help?

    Just a wild guess:

    1. Open Device Manager
    2. Locate your wifi adapter
    3. Double click it
    4. Go to the power management tab
    5. Untick "allow the computer to turn off this device..."
    6. Click OK.
    7. Reboot?

    I'd try this first.

    This worked to fix my issue as well! -- I thought my wifi card was just going bad
