You can, but all the old updates that are no longer needed will still be there, so the finished image will be larger than if you re-integrated and removed them.
Has anyone else this problem too? Yesterday I made an updated windows (all versions: 8.1.1 x64 ProWMC, Pro, Core and Enterprise) and I had some problems when I test-installed them in VMWare. During the completion of the setupcomplete.cmd I normally see the following message: ...... (i don't know in english) now I'm getting: "Looking for updates" (in all versions). Only when I got an error message that an online account could not be created (during the OOBE) and i directly got the option to create an offline windows account the normal message showed. The second problem is that when the testinstall is ready, the windows defender update fails at the first try, it was 59.4MB in size, then i let windows update do a new search and then i get a defender update which is 107MB in size and that one installs fine (This is also the case when i install a clean msdn pro/core iso).
The hotfix updates have been added to the Office 2013 lists, there are five new updates. if i integrate both Windows8.1-KB2981666 and Windows8.1-kb3005608 to boot.wim index 2, setup fails with an error like "a media driver your computer needs is missing" also i see winpeshl.ini file added to boot.wim/index:2/windows/system32 folder when i integrate these updates.
No. doesn't setup.exe runs from index 2, which is x: when you boot from cd? i will give it try. Edit: thanks. this fixed the issue. i haven't done this with previous updates before and i didn't get this problem before.
Question regarding KB2995518 from the September 2014 Update Rollup (KB2984006) that is included in the update lists created by abbodi1406 and murphy78: Is KB2995518 still needed? KB2995518 is not included when KB2984006 is downloaded from the Microsoft Update Catalog and also is not included when KB2984006 is downloaded from the Microsoft Download Center. KB2995518 was originally listed in the File Information section of the Knowledge Base Article for KB2984006, but the file information for KB2995518 was removed when the article was updated on October 3, 2014. So, was KB2995518 superseded by an October 2014 or November 2014 update?
Downloadable from MS + have new components = of course needed btw, the update have latest version of SystemSettings.dll (PC Settings)
@abbodi1406 Is KB2977292 the latest update that should be installed? It is not mentioned in your changelog, but is available in WHD.
