Installed updates using 11/22 WHD List and superseded update KB2973201 is offered by WU. This KB wasn't included in the WU.Satisfy directory.

    KB2989647
    Windows 8.1/Windows Server 2012 R2 x64 update: ~ 10448KB
    Windows 8.1 update: ~ 4632KB

    supersedes

    KB3012199
    Windows 8.1 update: ~ 4572KB
    Windows 8.1/Windows Server 2012 R2 x64 update: ~ 10358KB

Not sure whether it will require KB2919355 or not, makes you wonder where the extra size comes into play as if it were just straight bug fixes the size should be more similar to KB2989647.

The language packs under KB3012997 are interesting, no doubt you will have to install and update all those that are relevant to your system. It will also mean a little bit of 'fun' for Abbodi to add to the update lists, and of course the ability of the user to select which ones they need to download and install.

It will also be a little interesting for the install method for the new Windows installer I'm working on (I restarted it using a completely different concept to the earlier one I was working on!). I showed Aboddi the basic concept of it recently, that included the new new method but still had the old new method for installing the updates. The new new method allows for a bit more freedom in install ordering and update finding etc, unlike the old new method and the old V28 method.

In any case, I'm sure I will work something out in terms of the language packs and only updating those that are already installed, it just won't be ready this week so don't hold out for it :D.

This program is not working for me properly. It downloads the needed updates, tells me to run "Copy_Files_2_add" and then run "Update", but nothing happens. All the updates continue to reside in the Repo folder. "Copy_Files_2_add" tells me that all 40 updates are missing... They aren't - they are in the Repo folder. Should I just manually install them or should I manually copy them to Normal or LDR folder??? I changed the path of WU and WU\Repo folders to a directory with a ton of spaces in folder names... Maybe that's the issue?

Does this program download the very latest updates or just the most recent ones? I recall it not being able to keep up with Update 1 and 2 Baseline releases.

Will it still detect which updates were installed if I run "Clean-and-ResetBase-WinSxS-Folder" script that makes it impossible for updates to be removed..?

EDIT: Nope, there are still 12 updates that I downloaded with WHDownloader that can be installed after all of the KUC updates were installed and those updates are from 10/15-10/27, mostly General Updates, but with a couple of RSAT, NET Framework 3.5, and Hotfixes. Guess there's really no way to get them all, huh?

EDIT 2: And after all this, Windows Update tells me I need to reinstall the original Update 1 and then Update 3. Hahaha! What are all these program for if Windows makes you download everything from the very beginning no matter what you do? I mean KUC did not detect any Superseded items to remove and now I need to download Update 1 that was supposedly included in Murphy's November 2014 release and then Update 3, which I already installed! WTH???

Regarding problems with KB917607 that has been discussed:

Although, KB917607 WinHlp32.exe can be used with old help files, there is a problem with running SFC after using the workaround.

    Code:

    C:\>sfc /verifyfile=%windir%\winhlp32.exe

Windows Resource Protection found integrity violations. Details are included
in the CBS.Log windir\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. For example
C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. Note that logging is currently not supported in
    offline servicing scenarios.

Any fix for this, so "SFC /SCANNOW" can be run without having the KB917607 WinHlp32.exe (10/25/2013) replaced with the "new" WinHlp32.exe (10/28/2014)?

Yes, possibly, with a lot of messing around with the catalog files etc. The reason why it comes up with an error is because winhlp32.exe doesn't match the catalog information. That said, even if you did work out the catalog information side of things, there could be other issues introduced.

    It is independent
now we can unify things and get rid of both KB2975061 and KB2989647

That's good, it makes sense to be. I guess you still need at least update 1 installed to be able to install it? Hopefully Microsoft improve the way they do updates for Windows 10, and not name it a patch quandary like I have heard it rumoured could be.
