seems like they are cleaning up the WU lists too, and some superseded updates are no longer offered like before: KB2958262 KB2961072 KB2962140 KB2965142 KB2971203 KB2973201 KB2973351 on the other hand it shows KB2982998-v2 for IIS in my VM and it is not in WU.Satisfy folder and it still shows the superseded rollups i am using the latest enterprise x64 image
i tried only x64 versions :/ that is really strange though, because 2976627 and 2920189 are included in the iso
I was talking about my regular system (which have WHD list of updates installed except WU.Satisfy) as for latest IR5 ISO, of course you will not get those in WU because they are already installed
We have seen repeatedly that MS has considerable difficulty managing cumulative updates, and this has caused us all some grief. Should we therefore consider it good news ?
@abbodi1406 When will you update your changelog, to suit the latest refreshed Windows 8.1 iso? Thanks.
I won't the changelog is for updates and regardless of latest iso, those updates are still applicable
You mean all current updates are applicable to latest ISO? I don't think so, many of them are outdated now and fully integrated by Microsoft.
Applicable = Not superseded not all human beings will use the latest ISO (i know i won't ) latest ISO is the one actually contain outdated updates and except having KB3000850 pre-installed, this new ISO is not worth the trouble
I agree and will not be using the new ISO either. It is a collection of uninstallable superseeded updates-definitely not worth it.
Created a new update list for that ISO: Windows8.1-Update3 however, the list exist only in the new WHDownloader, old WHD doesn't have it
