KB3012199 always first KB2959977 can be anywhere else as discussed above, some of latest hotfixes eliminate some superseded/included updates that are requested by WU
Well, in your WHDownloader list explicitly says: But it's okay, whatever. Regarding hotfixes that "help" satisfy WU, information is dispersed (for me) Duh! Please enumerate them just the needed ones as I don't want to integrate all of them. Thank you abbodi. Edit: I know WU would still be nagging and won't stay quiet, but at least there would be less updates to download for satisfaction.
This applies if you decided to install it live using msu file offline integration / using WU / dism with .cab = no order matters why you don't want them all? that will need some search unfortunately, i deleted all removed WU.Satisfy updates of my HDD
Thanks abbodi. I don't want all of them because of space. When I work with aios wim image grows a lot. It seems I need to integrate that hotfixes any way.
@abbodi1406 Two discrepancies between the Windows 8.1 change log and the WHDownloader update lists. 1. The change log shows KB3014795-x64 added 2014/12/10, and not Removed/Superseded. However, KB3014795-x64 is not in the WHDownloader 2015/03/11 update list (Windows8.1-x64.wh). 2. KB3031598-v3 is included in the WHDownloader x86 and x64 update lists (2015/03/11), but is not included in the change log.
i didn't had the chance to upload the updated changelog (Dropbox was somehow stubborn) and i had to format my win8.1 main system, currently just checking the forums 3014795-x64 is superseded by 3023869-v4+3031598-v3
Ok thanks for the info. I should have added I have been making an up-to date Win 8.1 .iso, i'm using WinToolkit to integrate the updates (as per WHDownloader1.5 update list for Win8.1 x64 update 3). Its just annoying as you have found to try and create an up-to date .iso but still WU wants to install a load of updates !!!!
Yeah, consequently pointless is to offline integrate updates to an install.wim file if WU going to still nagging me for the same already integrated updates Again, sysprep + generalize + capture, I believe is the answer.
Can anybody check and see if security 3033889 (not installed) still requested by WU after installing hotfix 3048778?
Unfortunately I saw your above post while updating via WU and KB3033889 was installed. However I uninstalled it and installed KB3048778. No more nagging for KB3033889... I don't know if this procedure counts as I couldn't avoid the installation of KB3033889 in the first place.
With 3048778 installed, 3033889 is not requested by WU on my system (x64). WU got a lot smarter this month.
