I don't know why they decided to skip .NET March Preview Rollups today's Rollups are built on December ones and now we have two active Quality Rollup for each version Hotfix Rollup system was much better and consistent how come Windows 7 rollups are consistent (today's Rollups supersede all previous)? i guess MSI is not resilient as CBS
Anyone know why WU is offering KB2919355 even though I have it installed? Code: Package_for_KB2919355~31bf3856ad364e35~amd64~~6.3.1.14 | Installed | Update | 3/18/2014 10:39
I don't think so. I used KUC and built a Mar. updated offline image starting with u1 as the base. KUC output added about 273 updates to the wim.
It looks like it might actually be wanting to install kb2934018 since the WU KB2919355 size is only 126.3 Mb. Just a guess though because 2934018 has that size and is part of 2919355 Looks like this is a KUC problem because I see that KB2934018 was not added for that build and was flagged as: GM, VM driver IGNORE Due to KB2979256 changes to Hyper-V drivers are ignored.
Seems April 2017 Monthly Rollup includes a new version of Windows Update Client. Anyone knows about this? Is there any difference? If that so we will install Rollup at first before checking for updates wuaueng.dll file version is bumped to 7.9.9600.18628
Anyone else notice the MRT for April showing an Application Error in the event log after installing? It runs during the install, and shows an error in the log after the install. W8.1 x64
