Update not superseded does not necessary means all of its components are not replaced most updates are partially superseded, including KB2919355 and KB3000850 KB3000850 itself is bigger and replaces < 60% of KB2919355 it would be better if you installed Update 3 media, which don't have the superseded part of KB2919355 either that, or you need to perform StartComponentCleanup operation at least once
Whats wrong with KB4043763 ? On file level it should fully supersede KB4040972, but WU does not think so.
I have the same. After integration KB4043763 WU presents KB4040972. While in Windows 7 after installation KB4043764 WU not presents KB4040973.
per Microsoft rules, optional update (4043763) cannot supersede security update (4040972) likewise new preview update (4041777) do not superseded either of them so we are stuck with 3 .NET 4.7 updates for me i choose to removed superseded updates from WHDownloader list WU needs metadata to determine supersedence for CBS updates (W8.1 rollup) while W7 rollup is MSI-based, and each higher version rollup (patch) supersede previous automatically
Nothing. All right. msu they have smaller size for integration. Apparently you have to wait until they come in WU.
Am I the only one that has component store corruption after installing Powershell 5.1? Everytime, be it on a real machine or VM, after updating Powershell on 8.1 x64, sfc reports a bunch of Powershell files being corrupt and everytime it says it fixed the issue, it reports the same issue again on another run of the tool.
