Hi I need this file: Microsoft-Windows-WinPE-LanguagePack-Package~31bf3856ad364e35~amd64~pt-BR~6.3.9600.16384.cab so If anyone here can help me, I thank you in advance.
Everyone is focused on Windows 10 release now. Who cares about an old-fashioned .NET Framework release?
Use : https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/dism-new-windows-utility.59389/ go to updates/add Or use winaerotweaker.exe/context menu/add "install" command for cab files
Thanks for ARM. How did you figured out clcid= parameter? I spend half of the day to download from LinkId=863276 from VMs with different system LPs installed.
One .NET rollup they add languages resources, another one they remove them, make up your mind Microsoft so much for the cumulativity although the files (DLLs) themselves are still the same as RTM, why they bother to add them to updates in the first place? i need to install non en-us VM to check the mess
True... Microsoft doesn't bother to check other regions. Just look at the Powershell 5.x screwup with the .mui files! Corrupt component store everytime.
The check for .NET 3.5 mess came up with 4 updates which are needed for languages resources by WU: Code: KB2978122 security, requested itself KB3096438 hotfix, to suppress KB2972213 KB3142026 security, to suppress KB2972103 if installed LDR KB4054999 security rollup, to suppress KB2973114 and KB3122651 hotfix KB3000059-v3 no longer needed it's superseded on components level by latest rollup update + KB3037576 the AspNetEnforceViewStateMac registry key it add is also added by KB2894852-v2, which is needed anyway to satisfy WU -- i did not bother to do the same for Windows 7, because honestly, its WU mess is beyond any reasonable satisfactory
