@aquarius84 the latest build of Windows 8.1 is Build update 3. Best is to download the iso and integrate all the updates with abbodi1406's batch called WHD-W81UI + WHDownloader It is easy to use and keep an uptodate image of Windows 8.1
I received in my machine with Win8.1 Update3 the Microsoft Edge Chromium via Windows Update! It has all previous patches integrated with W8.1UI and updated
@Bruno A. Vieira: abbodi1406 has already done the work for you and checked all updates/hotfixes. All applicable/needed ones are available using WHDownloader. And he has an installer script that will help with installing them properly: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/posts/1296720 All applicable/needed are also available using @komm's Update Checker. It will also install them for you (in addition to removing superseded ones). Many updates in your list are superseded and not needed. The ones available through either app listed above are all that are needed. Also, some in your list that failed to install require KB2919355 as a prerequisite. Possibly it was not installed prior?
Thanks for this but when mean windows 10 you mean KB3080149,KB3044374,KB2976978 in WHDownloader? Don't these include telemetry? & KB2990967 I have install after I finish installing Windows 8.1 Correct?
Yes all of those that you mentioned are all that are in the Windows10 category in WHDownloader which is what I meant. They are offered by Windows Update but are not necessary so at the end of the post I suggested hiding them in the live system instead of integrating them. They all add telemetry or facilitators for the upgrade to Windows 10. But I will edit the post to make it clearer. KB3150513 which is in the WU.Satisfy category is also offered by WU but is related to telemetry and it is not necessary you can hide it too. KB2990967 can be integrated offline if you use WHD-W81UI
I updated my post to make it cleaner and clearer and added new information: - In Hotfixes only KB3044759 and KB3078919 are required to satisfy Windows Update. - Note: If you use WHD-W81UI to integrate updates disable LDRbranch in the script otherwise more updates will be offered. https://forums.mydigitallife.net/posts/1566976/
Correct me if i'm wrong but I was under the impression that all the latest updates are blocked from being installed on a PC that has new architecture cpu, something like from Intel 7th generation and up.
