@3zero3 Sorry if I express myself wrong. I did not want to force you to do anything, I was just relating my experience installing the pack, which by the way is very good, I had no problem, I install the W10 and MRT updates from WU, by the way I wish you luck and I am sure that the package it will get better over time. My sincere apologies.
We have some misunderstandings here. Maybe because of my crapinglish. When I said, I do not want to force people to, e. g. restart PC, I meant, that I do not want to be like Windows, forcing people to restart their PCs. Some people think that these "Windows 10 Updates" are bad and because of that fact, these updates are not included in UP4O. If I add "W10 updates", with or without their knowledge, some people will start to think that UP4O is something bad, even if these update are inside CU. My goal is not to make something bad. Or sound bad. I hope that I am clearer now.
for the last two month i could not install or uninstall any update due a weird issue it's related to updates security catalogs, they cannot be removed or added to databbase Code: CryptCATAdminRemoveCatalog returned error: 0x000006B5 = RPC_S_UNKNOWN_IF = The interface is unknown. the database log list various errors with same code C:\Windows\System32\catroot2\dberr.txt Code: CatalogDB: 6:55:04 PM 2020/9/7: catdbcli.cpp at line #626 encountered error 0x000006b5 CatalogDB: 6:55:04 PM 2020/9/7: catadnew.cpp at line #1950 encountered error 0x000006b5 CatalogDB: 6:55:04 PM 2020/9/7: catadnew.cpp at line #869 encountered error 0x000006b5 CatalogDB: 6:55:04 PM 2020/9/7: catdbcli.cpp at line #567 encountered error 0x000006b5 CatalogDB: 6:55:04 PM 2020/9/7: catadnew.cpp at line #713 encountered error 0x000006b5 i tried several fixing attempts, no avail Spoiler sfc /scannow dism /restorehealth repair {F750E6C3-38EE-11D1-85E5-00C04FC295EE}\catdb rebuild {F750E6C3-38EE-11D1-85E5-00C04FC295EE}\catdb regsvr32 crypt and rpc binaries rebuild NTFS transaction log and USN journal i think the real cause is in RPC run-time library registry, not cryptography service but i don't know how to check or fix that does anyone have a suggestion before i format and clean install? it's been 3 years since i did it in-place upgrade is out of scope, it cause more issues than fixing
