Yes, but it's categorized non-security WU still request KB4578976 (at least this been the case before) i could not check WU to verify
Hi @abbodi1406, Last month I created an ISO using WHDownloader + WHD-81UI and now I would like to update it with the latest updates, how should I proceed? The script detects the built-in updates and only installs the new ones?
i reinstalled windows 8, i updated only with security updates using whdownloader but i get popup message with unsupported hardware. Anyone knows what update i need to uninstall?
@asache how could we help you as you did not provide any infos about hardware conf, mobo, ram..??? .I use WHD since many years and did not encounter any problems.
As I can see on GigaByte support your mobo is compatible from Windows 7 to Windows 10, drivers are available.Perhaps you should try to first integrate drivers into Windows 8.1 iso and appliy also all the updates provided with WHD. I do this since a long time even on a mobo that is not even supported by Asus for Windows 8.1. If problems still appear for you give us more details, screenshot.......Waiting for your feedback Thanks
Dism only check the applicability rules of update.mum, the sub-packages may not follow the same rules i.e. .NET 4.8 updates for Wn8.1 can be Dism'ed without .NET 4.8 KB4486105
But in this case it's for Windows 8.0, the NET 4.8 update is KB4486081. So you're saying that if I skip the update.mum and update directly through the sub-packages it will enable the installation?
Probably, package_7 -> package_13 are for client but i just finished checking KB4486081 nothing seems blocked for Windows 8 Client, and it should have fully integrated can you re-do the integration and share dism.log?
