The main reason is, after installation of updates, there are not just one or two version of MRT, but ten. I think, did not count. Anyway, much more than one-two. It is just stupid. I cannot describe how I feel stupid when I see ten different versions of MRT. Hide one and then, there is another one, again hide, again there is another one... But yes, You are right, maybe I can leave note about it...
Yes, they are chained like Monthly Rollups or some updates, when you hide one the previous pops out MRT should keep 2 versions at most
The old Flash package did the same shenanigans. Just use WuMgr or WUMT, search for updates including superseded ones, and hide them in one go.
Do I need to first add QualityCompat registry key into the ISO for the updates to be integrated properly? Edit: I read more and my question is answered.
Updated to latest updates and poped up old IE CU (KB3185319) update. What do I need to do? Ignore it?
SSU KB5016264 contains ExtendedSecurityUpdatesAI.dll Rollup KB5015874 (and SO KB5015877) contain ESU licenses and keys support, including Client ESU as well they might extend Windows 8.1 for ESU eventually, or it's just generic licenses for completion
@abbodi1406 I noticed KB5012170 is not listed as an add in your WHD 8.1 lists Changelog. Is this not needed? I get the following after installing it and then doing resetbase: KB4535680 removed KB3172729 offered by WU, but KB4535680 not re-offered
Fixed, thanks for me, i installed KB5012170 and uninstalled KB4535680 (no cleanup) then searched WU, and KB4535680 offered maybe because i have SSU KB3173424 installed, i didn't get KB3172729
