I've got an old laptop, no longer supported, and no official driver updates from the manufacturer, so plan on continuing using Windows 8.1 until October 2023 (Chrome security deadline). However, been testing Windows 10 LTSC 2019, on a separate disk, which proved compatible with the drivers I had (dated from 2015 to 2018) for the devices missing from Windows Update. That's going to be my future option. Laptop originally came with Windows 7, which I have actively used until mid 2020 and still have in another disk and been updating that with the ESUs for the few things I need it for. My two cents. PS: Thanks for your work. August 2023 updates installed on Windows 8.1 with the ESU trick. Haven't tested others yet.
