Windows 8.1 Hotfix Repository

Are there WHD lists for Windows Server 2012 R2?
Because Windows 8.1 Update 3 WHD lists only contains up to Jun 2025 which is not compatible with Client but Server does.

Can't imagine the nightmare this must have been for system administrators to understand what's going on.
Seems like this could lead to massive problems on many levels.

 

Servicing Stack updates KB5106414 (Server 2012) and KB5106412 (Server 2012 R2) will go out today to fix the issue

they will be prerequisites to install July Monthly Rollups (KB5099445 and KB5099444), and other .NET updates (if any)

IE11 will get KB5099415

Do you run the expand command on Win 8.1 or newer host OS?

My host os is Windows 11 26h1 (28000)

 

Try on another Host OS to be sure

no issue extracting here on Win8.1

I've reported this as a bug within Windows Feedback app. Dmn Windows 11.
Maybe the bug comes from DPX.dll, 10.0.28000.2605.

 

You can try Win8.1 dpx.dll + Win11 expand.exe next to each other
