Maybe start up a collection to get hosting for those hotfix dl links that no longer work (or somebody with ftp space/bandwith willing to host such files)
That's really good to hear. He also told me in mid-October that he was coming back, but I guess it's taking him longer than anticipated. Hope he's doing well, and it will be great to see him return! A new repo approach is being worked on by Alphawaves, abbodi1406 & burfadel, but of course it would be great if McRip does come back, since more options for getting hotfixes is always a good thing. Even if he came back to just to post once in a while would be nice. komm will also be back and update his KUC utility. He's just super-busy right now and has absolutely no free time. When he gets a break in his schedule, he'll return also.
It's the generic bluetooth hub driver and if you opened the original bth.inf for RTM, you will find the same, as well as many generic microsoft drivers updated binaries is what matters

@RickSteele , May i know the KB2896394DVD , KB2894179DVD & KB2883900DVD which file have to integrated to installation media and have any stuff has this 3 update ?
KB2894179 is one of three updates included in GA Update KB2883200 rollup that is included in Windows 8.1 GA released only to volume/enterprise customers and is the update to integrate elsewhere also as described below . KB2883200 rollup contains: KB2883200 integrate normally into install.wim KB2894029 integrate normally into install.wim KB2894179 integrate normally into install.wim and: boot.wim /Index:1 boot.wim /Index:2 install.wim (mounted)\Windows\System32\Recovery\winRE.wim (winRE.wim must be mounted to a separate folder after mounting install.wim, then, point DISM to the mounted winRE.wim and integrate KB2894179 into it.) all using DISM. KB2896394DVD and KB2883900DVD are already in a full Windows 8.1 DVD-used as dynamic updates when upgrading 8 to 8.1 online and are not needed.
thanks for the info , may i ask i have windows 8 pro original product key can i direct install windows 8.1 useing the windows 8 original product key ?
You can use a generic 8.1 key to install and then add your 8.0 serial after installation What I do personally is I use ei.cfg to not get prompted for serial during setup, plus my 8.0 serial is already applied to my image in install.wim with dism
I've read in using ei.cfg for activation if one changes their hardware at all the activation will be broken-n'est pa'?
ei.cfg does nothing but say its "retail" and "pro" sku, if this is in your sources folder you wont get prompted for serial during setup...and if you apply the 8.0 serial with waik you wont be prompted after that With Windows 7 if I applied my serial to install.wim it never asked for serial during setup, with windows 8 that no longer works (it still prompts you, I think it has to do with OEM's having serial embedded in the bios)
