i have a problem to integrate this update: Windows8.1-KB2887595v2 i tried with Windows Hotfix Downloader and DISM and after integrate, windows update found it again. How can fix this problem?
maybe because windows update includes (KB2898514, KB2901101, KB2906956, KB2908174) with KB2887595 and since (KB2901101, KB2906956, KB2908174) are not integrated (because they are superseded), WU offer KB2887595 although on live system, i uninstalled (KB2901101, KB2906956, KB2908174), and KB2887595 is not showing in WU
Check Windows\system32\ntoskrnl.exe version or in registry: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\BuildLabEx in cmd: Code: reg query "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion" /v BuildLabEx
9600.16468.amd64fre.winblue_gdr.131113-1552 seems to be an older version than @woniu have....All updates and hotfixes installed. What is wrong here?.BTW,while i browsed in system32 I found a registry called NTmarta.dll.. Just coincidence?
Strange error for this hotfix applying it to an offline wim via a cmd i thought i'd share. WINDOWS8.1-KB2913212-X86.MSU PROCESSING 9 OF 12 - ADDING PACKAGE F:\SOURCES\UPDATES\WINDOWS8.1-X86\HOTFIX\WINDOWS8.1-KB2913212-X86.MSU F:\SOURCES\UPDATES\WINDOWS8.1-X86\HOTFIX\WINDOWS8.1-KB2913212-X86.MSU: AN ERROR OCCURRED APPLYING THE UNATTEND.XML FILE FROM THE .MSU PACKAGE. FOR MORE INFORMATION, REVIEW THE LOG FILE. ERROR: 0X80070002 Is it possible to also add the option to checkmark all missing hotfixes (at least in general, hotfix and security) per edition? You currently have to manually expand each category and select the missing ones. Also, because of the absence of Win 8 hotfixes, it leads me to believe there is not 1 single use for Win8 anymore. When it comes to illegal or legal activation, DART, repair, WinRE, Upgrades, etc i can not think of a single reason why Win 8.1 would not work because i should of used a Win 8 disk instead. Is there any reason at all i should keep Win8 in my AIO projects?
@komm When doing an offline integration with the latest KUC 8.1 and selecting Skip "OK" packages, KUC status IGNORE is also being skipped. Is this an oversight? I would expect the IGNORE entry to be included in the output.
