Windows 8.1 Hotfix Repository

It is normal for "Windows Update" ask me certain updates that have already been integrated? Were 2, can not remember which, but they are in the repository because I found there.

How do I check which Windows 8.1 updates I already downloaded and installed IF I always delete all the files in the C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Downloaded directory to keep my PC optimized and clean? When I run Windows Hotfix Downloader - it shows me available updates but it does not show me which exact updates I already downloaded on that same list. It only shows downloaded/installed updates on a different list, so I can't really figure out which ones I need to download and which ones are redundant. I keep my Windows up to date using the default Windows Update.

I just want to make sure there are no other updates that Windows Update may not be showing that I can download to update my OS.
