    They must have had an old exe on there. Re-download it. It's the new one now.

    Ugh... the winpe.wim is still the old 8/22 one.
    *glare at ms*

    Guess it makes sense, since the only things they change are the patches...

    Edit: They are the same files as the ADK version only 1 hour earlier time-stamped.
    File versions are the same. dism reports 17029.

    windows 8.1 update 1 is now avaliable for MSDN and technet any leaks ?

    Not sure whether .msu packages will be leaked. But, they will be officially available on April 8 (Patch Tuesday) via Windows Update.

    aha but i read that windows 8.1 update 1 is avaliable for today for msdn and technet so it is final i think

    Yes, Windows 8.1 Update 1 is final now. Untouched MSDN ISOs are being shared via torrents. :cool2:

    Does this KB get slistreamed to all wim's. ie: WinPE, Setup (boot.wim index 1 and 2) and install.wim?

    Yes, it's applicable to all (and it's present in all wim files in the update iso)

    Hate to state the obvious but... Why don't you just wait until April 8 when they come on Windows Update?

    When 17031 was leaked a good fellow here released a packaged exe that installs everything in the right order. Any chance of an update to include the new hot fix , or maybe a batch file that accomplishes the same?
