Anyone knows if this is the right order for interating, or should they be arranged in a different order? thanks in advance 01 - Windows8.1-KB2934018-x64.cab 02 - Windows8.1-KB2959977-x64.cab 03 - Windows8.1-KB2899189-x64.cab 04 - Windows8.1-KB2920189-x64.cab 05 - Windows8.1-KB2926765-x64.cab 06 - Windows8.1-KB2931358-x64.cab 07 - Windows8.1-KB2931366-x64.cab 08 - Windows8.1-KB2939153-x64.cab 09 - Windows8.1-KB2950153-x64.cab 10 - Windows8.1-KB2953522-x64.cab 11 - Windows8.1-KB2954879-v2-x64.cab 12 - Windows8.1-KB2955164-x64.cab 13 - Windows8.1-KB2956575-x64.cab 14 - Windows8.1-KB2957151-x64.cab 15 - Windows8.1-KB2958262-x64.cab 16 - Windows8.1-KB2962140-x64.cab 17 - Windows8.1-KB2965065-x64.cab 18 - Windows8.1-KB2965500-x64.cab
Looks good to me. You could also add 2934520 (net 4.5.2) in there as well if you wish... Someone posted the links a few pages back to the compressed versions.
Thanks "murphy78" Wasn't sure if i put the updates in the correct order, thought maybe KB2955164 would be under KB2959977
As long as you integrate them one at a time and start with 2934018, it shouldn't matter which order the rest are in.
What do you mean one at a time exactly? Not to put the whole bunch of updates into the source folder but only one at a time and execute dism command one at a time? Seems a lot of work to me. Re-thinking this twice is a hell of a lot of work since I'm preparing my Win8.1 AIO with many indexes... Edit: One more thing, according to Alphawaves and aboddi KB2959977 goes before KB2934018, you have the opposite, then what is the right order?
has any one know the KB2898850 and KB2934520 can update LDR mode ? when i update the update in LDR process until 66% will show error missing source , has any info about the update ? thanks for the info first .....
abbodi1406 or anyone... I'm trying to wrap my mind around this LDR stuff. As I understand it, each hotfix can either be GDR, LDR, or both. If it is both it has a update_bf.mum in addition to the normal update.mum Concerning trying to create a fully LDR version of win8.1, how would one go about this? Could we start with the "with Update" versions and add LDR update mum extracted versions? Is there any sort of way to automate the LDR detection and/or integration? Do you get what I'm trying to do? I'd like to include all LDR updates into a Windows version and I'm trying to figure out the best way of going about that.
If its a "update" its usually gdr only, a "hotfix" it is usually ldr only, a "security update" usually both But something happened with Windows 8.1, no longer do we see much ldr files, this is probably because they add the security fixes+bug fixes to the gdr branch instead of only the security fixes
