We can get the download links of Download Center but honestly, i never had plans to add them to WHD repo, as that would make some things messy actually, those LPs contain lang resources for KB2919355 and KB2932046 so one would still need rest of the group
Updated Office 2013 x86 and x64 lists. The new lists contain the non-superseded updates from Patch Tuesday and this month's cumulative hotfix updates (not available through download centre or Windowsupdate).
It's not the first time that some updates get mentioned in the article then withdrawn or delayed for next months looking at the three updates that disappeared and sequential KB numbers, they may represent Update2 for Windows 8.1 Spoiler Code: Update for Windows 8.1 (KB2962182) Locale: All Deployment: WSUS and Catalog Classification: Updates, Non-Security Target platforms: Windows 8.1 Approximate file sizes: Windows 8.1 update: ~ 39749KB Windows 8.1 x64 update: ~ 40706KB Update for Windows 8.1 (KB2962193) Locale: All Deployment: WSUS and Catalog Classification: Updates, Non-Security Target platforms: Windows 8.1 Approximate file sizes: Windows 8.1 update: ~ 15888KB Windows 8.1 x64 update: ~ 16844KB Update for Windows 8.1 (KB2962194) Locale: All Deployment: WSUS and Catalog Classification: Updates, Non-Security Target platforms: Windows 8.1 Approximate file sizes: Windows 8.1 update: ~ 384678KB Windows 8.1 x64 update: ~ 385635KB
I guess it's something to look forward to next month, maybe . btw, updated the Office 2013 lists again. I removed some unnecessary updates, and added two more hotfixes found by Komm and linked to me by abbodi1406.
Like Windows updates, these updates replace the files, not patch them. These updates are cumulative, even the general release and security updates, and are multilingual. Having these updates multilingual increases the update download size, but simplifies the update process. Each time something small has changed you need to essentially download the files again, and that's what adds up to the download size. Some changes may mean little change to the code, but they could have a big impact, such as security fixes, critical and non-critical bug fixes, function improvement, and performance improvements.
Hi Guys, thanks for all your hard work regarding finding all these hotfixes! I have been away for a while, and things seem to have changed regarding the excellent WHD. Does anyone know what has happened to it, and it's thread? I can't find it, despite having it bookmarked. I'm sorry if this is not the best place to ask, but I know you guys work with WHD, so I hope you don't mind too much. Many thanks
Yes Alphawaves has ceased development of WHD, and also reduced the tool to a simple downloader. I have a Beta version where all the previous options to integrate/install available. I would share, but I'm not sure I'm allowed to do that without Alphawaves permission.
