After integrate the hotfixes, is possible exporting only index 1 of install.wim? or you need to have both indexes?

The answer is yes, you can export one index only, either 1 or 2.

    Hi,
Thanks for your efforts to maintain the hotfix repository. :)
I installed win8.1 u1 and I want to install post updates for it. I downloaded every updates using wintoolkit and whdownloader.
But now I don't know which updates are superseded and which to install.
Is there a way/tool that has the latest list of updates now? Does WinToolkit avoid those superseded updates automatically?
I used to updates live system using KUC before, but KUC has not been updated for a month now.

    Thanks again

WHDownloader has a "Search Superseded" feature that should be able to sort things out for you.

abbodi1406 also has a link for the repo list change log in his signature. It could be used to manually determine what's been superseded.

If you've got a fast internet connection, just downloading a fresh batch of the updates is an easy solution also.

    Hi

I was wondering how to install those updates after they are downloaded ? I have downloaded every update for Windows 8.1 x64, are they meant to be integrated to the install media or installed in the OS itself ? Can the installation be done automatically of they must be installed one by one ? I must have most of them already installed by windows update anyway, how can I know which one I still can install ? Thanks for any help.

/resetbase probably made those updates permanent. You could run another /resetbase to try to remove them.
