Iv few little questions:

To remember me please,
1. The/which databases including also LDR-Only (without GDR Part) Updates?
2. The/which databases including also updates for server editions?

3.

I know the LDR/GDR system, GDR for public (WU), LDR on request.
All updates included a LDR-Part and can optional install together or instead of GDR. (Right?)
But is with this? Update releasing just on Email-Reuqeust, databases including these specials?

4. Exist possible to download a full KUC update database, not just check/selecting updates?

the roolup is also better integrate into the boot.wim and winre.wim?

 

Don't know for sure

but it contains updated setup components (sources folder in boot.wim 2 index)

 

I'll see if copying the setup.exe from the updated boot.wim bootable index to the ISO's sources\ folder is required when I get further along in my integration process.

 

after installing kb 2975719, I'm still being offered 2918614, 2976897, 2978668 never saw 2978742 however

 

typical WU
because those are Important Security Updates, whereas 2975719 is an Optional Update

but i can assure that the updated components are include in 2975719

i guess they will change this next month

I'm not seeing that on my test x86 system I'm working on. Perhaps it doesn't want to overwrite some existing updates or there's some language information missing.
I'll update this post if my x64 test vm shows something different.

I've noticed there was a new companion update in the KB2962409 rollup, listed as KB2980654.
It's this way on MS Update Catalog, but it's not changed on MS Download Center. Strange...

 

Does anyone have any links to compressed MSU versions of the net453 (KB2969357) for win8.1 like we did on 452?
This 400mb file is unruly in its uncompressed state.

Hotfix rollup 2977302 supersedes it (even it's labeled as .NET 4.5.2)
it also have resources for all langs, unlike KB2969357 and KB2934520

 

Hello...

1. I have noticed that you guys talk about .NET FW v4-5-3. But there is nothing such for download from MS website. I have now v4-5-2 + Langpack ready for integration to ISO. So is there anything more recent...?
2. KB2962409-pack was updated with KB2980654-part. It is offered on W8-1-0 (OSs without -355). What does it do? Is it another preparation-service update for -355 [U1])?
